Somebody, Please
So much confusion going on in my head
So many words I’m leaving unsaid
So many tears refusing to fall
So many people that I cannot call
So many thoughts bouncing around
So many screams that don’t make a sound
So many dreams lost in my mind
So many hopes that I’ve left behind
Somebody see me and help me get through
Somebody show me what I need to do
Somebody look at me and look in my eyes
Somebody see through my clever disguise
Somebody care enough to take my hand
Somebody please to try understand
Somebody listen to what I won’t say
Somebody please, just glance my way
So many people just walking by
Somebody please see through this lie
So many cuts tearing my soul
Somebody help me regain control
So many tears, but they aren’t enough
Somebody once told me that this life is tough
So many words being misread
Somebody please just hug me instead
