Low growls and barks are
Contradicted by laughs
His hands
Rough and red
With handyman knowledge
Jab in and out
Of their playful space bubbles
The big dog takes a swat
Flashing teeth
The little dog scoots around
Followed by high pitch barks
They snap
Barking with all their might
Tails in the air
With love and respect
He strokes them
