Only in My Dreams
My mind is still,
But my intentions are clear,
You force me to stay, against my will,
But I want to explore, past this hill,
Away from here,
And my mind is still.
My dream place is past this hill,
But thoughts of escape fill me with fear,
So you force me to stay, against my will.
In my mind, I roam until,
I find my sanctuary; I’ve come so near,
And now my mind is still.
My ultimate goal, I am determined to fulfill,
Within this world, I pioneer,
But you force me to stay, against my will.
My endless possibilities have gone downhill.
My hope is lost, my path is unclear.
So in the end, my mind was still,
Because you forced me to stay, against my will.
