Everlasting Memories
As I sit here in class and look around at my friends,
I realize how soon most friendships will be coming to an end..
As we move on to our future lives,
We’ll grow apart, no longer side-by-side.
So as I watch my final year fly by…
I realize not to let too much time pass me by.
I’ll try for less fights and show off more smiles,
Until the day we walk down the aisle.
In our caps and gowns, we’ll all look back
At the memories we loved and ones we would rather forget.
25 years later, we’ll all reconnect,
For a night during which we all reflect.
The end will be here before we know it,
So I’ll sit back, relax and enjoy each passing moment.
