What Love Is.
You've taught me
what love is.
It's not that
flutter
I get in my
heart when I'm with
you.
It's not the
bliss
that you give.
Love is the word that
slits
your tongue, and drips
bitter-sweet blood.
Its so many risks
that we
dare
to take
Such a dangerous game
we play.
The gamble where
our hearts
are
at stake.
Baby, we've fallen
in deep
twined like a small grass basket
such a strong bond
weaved with
such fragile wisps.
Love is not a feeling
I've learned
but an understanding,
A journey
on an immortal path
that we take.
Another day
another stretch
another layer weaved
another tree grown
another leaf falling
another step forward
with you.
