Grasp the Reins
I know it will happen sooner or later
So instead of waiting I’ll take the challenge
Grasping the reins of love
And leading you back on track
If failures the conclusion I’ll never look back
I know I love you but am I in love
I’m breathless at the thought of our ending
I know it will happen sooner or later
But I will grasp the reins and lead you home again
Back to my heart where you belong
What’s that game in which we call love
Merely a bond of two people who are infatuated with each other
Whose souls are intertwined
Made up of one hope, one dream, one love
Here’s my heart, here’s my soul
Bandage the scratches and fill the holes
I’m not asking for it
I’m not begging for it
Simply waiting for it
Will it ever come
And when it comes
Love will prosper and spread throughout or conjoined souls
WE ARE ONE
But if we start to fall apart
I will grasp the reins and lead you home again
