Sun Flower
Golden yellow petals glem in the sun.
Sparkling like the stars for everyone
to see. Green leaves twinkling with dew drops.
Brown, puffy circle peaking at the top.
Towering over all that is around.
If bent and broken, reaching the ground.
Seeds expelled for critters to devour.
Chipmonks, and squirels munch upon the hours.
Oh, flowers of the sun growing so tall.
If you ever left me I would surly bawl.
You are my favorite flower my dear.
Your lovely, lucious, little petals and
your long, lanky stem consume my thoughts.
Sunflower, you are as radiant as the sun.
