Simply Sad
The beach is completely bare,
the shells have been washed away
by the torrential rain
and the crashing waves.
The people have left the sands,
for the season has turned to fall.
The cold rains and persistent winds
make this beach a frigid hell.
The calm seems never to come.
The sky has blackened clouds.
The sands are always shifting.
Yet the waves continue to crash.
