Mirrors
My hands, my face, my mind, erased.
My laugh, my smile, they left for a while. You took the things that made me, me.
You took my sight, now I can’t see.
You took my shine, you took my glow;
you took away the things I know.
I walk the streets without a soul, because you left, I am not whole.
My life, my love, it all lost meaning.
Every word I hear is now deceiving.
You monster, so heartless, you left me broken;
destruction so great with all the lies you have spoken.
I look at this monster;
do you know what I see?
I see my reflection,
smirking, staring back at me.
