Death
Seeing you lifeless in that casket,
Was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to look at
Listening to your 4 year old sister ask “What is a funeral?”
And your older sister’s reply, “You’re about to find out.”
Was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to listen to
Seeing your mother and family scream and cry in horror as your body went into the flames
Was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to watch
Never in my life had I experienced death of someone close
But then all of a sudden I was at two funerals
And all of a sudden two of my friends were gone forever
Saying goodbye for the last time
Was the hardest thing I’ve ever done
