life as i know it

As I lay back and disappear, I realize,
The lies I heard I listened to
Every word and every sound I knew
Never right never true
With every drink, I wanted more
Every drop till I hit the floor
To change the past and never see,
What would take my life and become of me
What I wanted I took all free
With no guilt in my mind, just for me
Behind these walls, no friends, no hope
Only me, myself, and I do I have to cope
As I lay back and disappear I realized
