On May 17 around 1 p.m. Dan and Amy Martelli told press of Atlantic City that they saw.
A plane declined behind the trees in their back yard.
Amy says that she drove to Little Eagles Nest Airport to see if the plane had landed.
But, it wasn’t there.
Amy says that she called 911 to report a crash.
But, it was not taken very seriously.
After, that Amy, Dan, and their eight year old son searched for the plane for a half-hour.
But, they did not find it.
Three hours later a passenger on the plane was able to get out of the wreckage and call police that their plane crashed.
Two people were killed; one was Stephen Claussen a Mammal expert who trained Keiko the whale star in.
“Free Whilly”
The plane owner John Ambroult was also killed.
There were two other people on the plane which were also marine mammal experts.
But, they were badly injured.
Finally, around 4 p.m. crash victim Juan carlos salinus reached authorities’.
But, it was only then the police began searching for the plane.
