if people were pencils
then life would be great
everyone could erase their lies
no more mistakes
no heartbreak
unfortunately
we aren't pencils
instead we are pens
sure we can whiteout our lies and mistakes
but if you scratch hard enough
the lies and mistakes under the hardened white
show through
