Tigers
I
1Hunting his prey with teeth white as snow:
Fashion, he never lacks,
For as it digests its food flow,
The tiger is in stripes of orange and black.
5And, for some unknown reason
Orange and black for the tiger never go out of season.
II
With a loud roar that fills the air,
The tiger will remind you less of a cat and more of a bear.
For this is no household cat,
10Which to the tiger would be the size of a rat.
This wild, remarkable beast
Is no sweet kitty to say the least.
III
The tiger quietly stalks its prey
Body hunkered down as it slinks on its way
15To catch a meal, a meal that can be quick,
Or maybe a meal that knows a few tricks.
The tiger is quiet, the tiger is serene,
For if he is not the tiger will be lean.
IV
Oh, magnificent tiger
20Free and wonderful to see
With a nature as free as the roaring sea
With peaceful, yet deceitful eyes
You in your mind hold many lies.
Tiger, creature of jungles and lands not found
25An aura of mystery is around you that surrounds
An animal high on the wonder list,
Creature of camouflage and creature of mist.
