I Really Don't Know What You'll Think
I know that it was banned
And I know it’s not allowed
I know you’re upset with me
It’s not something that makes a father proud
Please just try to understand me
All the other girls are doing it too
You said it was bound to happen
It’s not something that’s new
I don’t mean to be disrespect you
Or go against your word
You don’t need to repeat yourself
I have already heard
I’ll call when I’m heading home
You can even check on me if you’d like
You have to realize I’m growing up
I’m not some little tyke
Please dad don’t be mad at me
I know it’s something you hate
But father just accept it
I’m going on a date
