YOU cAn SiNg AlOnG
The clicks on the clock are just jokes
every ticking and tocking’s a hoax.
every face with a frown, feeling down
I wanna throw at them punches and pokes
Teacher coughs, look out, look alive
Still thinking about how we’ve survived
Class as silent as night, but try as we might
we cannot stop this plan we’ve contrived!
Gonna make you smile, make you cry
And in a short while you’ll see us try
So our lives are spent in the way they were meant
Normality’s a curse, so goodbye!
Get the music on! Get the speakers out!
We’re here to show you what life’s all about.
Dancing on tables and I know there’s no doubt.
that life is a moment and to that, I’m devout.
So I’m not gonna waste it sitting in a hall
writing words that mean nothing at all
Might as well be dying, feel like crying
Watching you people go along with it all
so we’re dancing on tables
and were singing a song
and I know, you know,
how to sing along
