We Want What We Have
Laugh with me, sing with me, shout it out loud,
There’s a place I envision that I’m really quite proud.
The houses are tidy, the lawns green and neat,
The people are happy and quite pleasant to meet.
The water is clear and the sky is dark blue,
There’s mountains, and oceans, and plains through and through.
Meet me here, build with me, plant the first tree,
Help create a new place for my neighbor and me.
Oh wait, it’s been built, this magnificent lot,
America the Beautiful claims this great spot.
