I am from pink lemonade on sunny days, along with grilled steak and baked potatoes.
I am from four best friends and shopping on Saturday afternoons.
From Time magazine and Fox six news.
I am from games of foosball with my dad, and scrabble with my mom.

From candle lit church on Christmas Eve and the phrase “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”.
I am from neighborhood cookouts and homemade rockets on the fourth of July.
I am from a time share in Florida, and cousins in Guam.

From playing football on Lake Michigan and wakeboarding on Okauchee.
I am from a messy sister and cluttered family photo albums.

From Yankee candle aroma and concert tickets tacked up on my wall.

Was this done for a class? We had to write poems like this for my Facing History and Ourselves Class. You have cousins in Guam?
