Wind My Friend
So soft, so gentle
You glide through my hair
Whispering to me
But I can’t see you there
You slither along the world
Picking up the fallen leaves
Make the flowers dance and,
Rustle in the trees
Make the summer days cool
Cause my nose to freeze in December
But come helpful when you
Fan the night-time’s ember
On you reckless journey
You travel from place to place
Carrying wide spread scents and
Flowing with exquisite grace
Sometimes you get angry
And cause a terrible fright
Turning a nice cool day
Into a terrifying night
I can’t think of a world with out you
So soft so sweet, if I need to unwind
You always there to greet me
Wind, the one friend of mine
