Black
The pain is plain, the black brings shame,
It can’t be tamed; the black’s insane!
Black corrupts souls, destroys membranes—
Thus tears fall on counterpanes;
The black’s the pain that’s plain.
When black marks the dark,
The darkness harks; the darkness views the black as art.
Almost as if the black has heart;
Ha, black has no heart,
‘cause it’s within hearts that black does start.
