I still love you

You say your trying to help me, but you dont even understand, Dad i still love you, but im growing up and i dont always need you to hold my hand. Youve taught me well now let me be myself, i appreciate your effort but now its my turn, I gotta be me, cant you see, i have to do this on my own, its all part of growing up, i know you dont like it but thats the way its gotta be,i know its tough, but you've gotta have faith, just believe in me and you will see that this is how it was meant to be.
