Eighty-Eight Keys
Each key I strike, alive it comes, dancing gracefully,
Around about my head they swirl, ringing in my ears.
So sweet, the sound, each note she sings out so perfectly.
Taking away my pain, my doubt, destruction of my fears.
My sweet angel of music you sing into the night.
I close my eyes, my mind takes flight, finally I'm free.
Behind my lids and in my heart such colors form and light.
An unknown color, for each note, shines out so vibrantly.
Of ebony and ivory her body is composed.
Perfection found in eighty-eight keys, no one can oppose.
