A Dream About Freedom

She feels the green grass under her paws
Then licks the wet blood from her out stretched claws
Her belly is full; she’s just made a kill
She left it for bids when she’d had her fill
She closes her eyes and lies down flat
Now there’s a really happy cat
She hears someone’s cries
Then opens her eyes
!!!
She’s in Dubbo zoo
With nothing to do
Oh, how nice it seemed
But it’s all been a dream
“I wish I was free
That’s how it should be”
