There was a time in history when I could see you through the storm
In the love we made
Somewhere through the throes we lost one another in the middle of the passion
so we stand in the mark of the storm
Waiting
Wanting to be noticed again
The rain only continues down harder
But your smarter than that so much smarter
You distance yourself from the storm and me
From our love
On to the next one
For an eternity
