Used
Ruined dreams lie abandoned,
Scattered in pieces on the dashboard
Of a broke-down brain.
Hopeless thoughts buried in
The seams of the seats;
While mindless wonders
Still fill up the tires.
Lost love starts the ignition,
And all those cumulated sighs
Buckle the seatbelts
As the whirling car of my mind
Starts off again into unknown territory.
My will to live is almost on Empty,
The engine is starting to give away,
And the built up rage of my own
Hypocrisy still floats in the locked trunk.
Now I’m just a shell of a human,
A hunk of junk no one wants anything to do with.
Discarded.
I’m just what everyone who sees me says I am: Worthless.
