The mask
You hide hoping no on will find you.
You run hoping no one will ever catch you.
You smile hoping no one will see your pain.
Even though you go through hell everyday.
But I know better than them. I know you.
Ever since you were born I’ve been there,
watching your every move.
I see you laugh, I see you smile, I see you suffer, I see your pain.
But every time someone asks
"What's wrong"
You manage to show a stunning smile and say:
"I'm just tired"
Don't you understand. Those lame answers are old,
but yet still fools everybody.
You glide away like the water flowing downstream.
You face the world alone, or at least that's what you think.
Why do you hide? Why do you run?
Don't you know I'm here.
I'll be here forever and a day, for you. I'll be standing by your side.
Helping you out. Being your stairs.
Not a second longer will you have to wear that mask. Not around me.
I know your true colors I know who you are.
My angel, my friend I'm here, now and until the very last day.
