HER
HER
By: Sarah Snider
Her
It’s not what people always see
Shy, happy and afraid
Always revealed as plain
Shy
She's not going to fly out of the sky
Will her shell ever break?
Her game is give and take
Afraid
Of being out going
She's not always knowing
Different isn’t her thing
Plain
Wish she was more unique
Hopeful for something not bleak
Why can’t she just stand up and speak?
Happy
Laughing, loving and learning
In the breeze, she blows like a flower
Not standing out, but together
Her
It’s not what people always see
Shy, happy and afraid
Always revealed as plain…
