Miss You
Tears stinging my eyes
I know you gone now
Why is it so hard for me to let go?
To say Good bye
I wait hopelessly
For a phone call
I wait
For a reply to the I.M I sent you
I wait
My eyes are constantly looking at the chat box
No matter how hard I try not to look
Just waiting for familiar green light with a reply
Or the familiar popping sound it makes
Knowing I won’t receive a reply
I know I am being ridiculous
But I still wait
Receiving nothing
You’re gone
It’s hard to say good bye
It’s time to dry up the tears
No matter how much I cry you won’t come back
I’ve realized that now
It’s time to put the past behind
Time to take one step at a time and move forward
You may be out of my sight but never out of mind?
