Not a Toy!
Why are they mad at me?
Why, whatever I do, they don’t see?
Why can’t they leave me be?
Yet when I show my true pain,
They look down in pure shame!
They know how to play the game,
I’m just a beginner,
Easy to move where they want me to be,
Why does EVERYONE hate me?
What can I do?
What can I say?
How the HELL am I suppose to live another day!?
You put me down so you can rise,
The island in the middle of the sea is your prize,
You look down on me?
Why?
You should look down at yourself!
You’re the one who needs help!
For when you see me cry,
If it brings you joy,
Take a step back,
I AM NOT A TOY!
