DROWNING
you've spotted me in a crowded sea full of everything, everyone
as if i was something shiny that caught ur eye
you were courageous enough to jump in & save me before my Life it self drowned me.
Like a life jacket you kept me afloat
kept my head above water & held me tight in your arms
Like an invisible sheild
you kept harm a thousand miles away
Comfort, love, safety, and eah other were all we needed,
all we wanted
you've held me up for what seems like forever
slowly you loosen ur grip and start to let go
let go of me, let go of us
Finally you end it
Stripping me of your life jacket and sheild
having me tread water;
then slowly but surely
letting me drown
in the same waters (but worse)
You found me in.
