My Own
The patter of the rain, the mischievous clouds, resemble to a day's empty heart.
Nothing's the matter with me, oh don't let my tears fool you over, for you are just too smart.
You hear me scream, you see me cry, you've had all your time helping greed.
I give you my hand--I need help! No matter how hard I try, no matter how hard I plead.
When will the sun show? My spirits lay low, with no trace of hope.
I know now I'm on my own, thanks to you, I figure you don't need me. I cannot bare you, I cannot cope.
