The Beauty of Darkness
This darkness has a purpose,
For me to search for some cues,
This darkness has something hidden,
The answers outside my purview,
This darkness is black and deep,
No place for emotions to keep,
This darkness is bold and strong,
Difficult to catch a breath and stay along,
This darkness sans light,
Having huge capacity for insight,
This darkness neither black nor blue,
Has an altogether different hue,
This darkness calls me in,
And tells me how to win,
This darkness rarely shows hope,
But teaches me how to cope.
This darkness has its beauty,
This darkness has lots to do,
Every time I need rest and peace,
It enchants me in its cocoon
