Black Tears
*I shuffle through every single day
Then hang my head and begin to pray*
Every day is getting harder.
The warmth in my heart
that took a while to build
is always killed by winter's touch
Everytime I smile.
I never used to be like this.
The black mascara around my eyes
used to shield me
And now there's a target on my forehead.
I hear pathetic whimpers
and then realize it's me.
I catch a black tear in my hand
a sad little thing.
And when I look in the mirror.
Black streaks paint my face,
as if I'm a prisoner behind bars.
*I shuffle though every single day
Because I'm forced to, by life's death ray*
