First Time
Starting.
The first time when I saw your eyes
I knew at once with no surprise
A bond between us would start to grow
To forge a friendship - no 'how's' or 'why's'.
And.
The first time when I saw your smile
I felt that through whatever trial
Came my way - you'd be right there
To help me cross the painful mile.
Also.
The first time when I heard your voice
I heard my savior above the noise
Through thick and thin I'd follow you
To be your friend was my obvious choice.
Then.
The first time when I felt your touch
I felt hte warmth and strength as such
A degree of trust which we both share
To high extents, so very much.
Always.
All the times when I'm with you
I know that everything we ever do
Marks a time within our lives
To tie our friendship, still ever true.
Forever.
