One Sweet Day MAG
Passing by I stop to stare
Across the melancholy
And sadness you have inspired
To walk among your marble giants
is not allowed, but do I care?
No
Stopping to stare at a freshly dug pit
Six feet, not enough to hide this person's
Suffering
What was it that brought you to this
Desolate end
Or is it too terrible to mention
I stare about the rolling hills
and wonder if when sounds my knell
If I'll hear the sound from Heaven
Or Hell
