hanging, dangling.
a nervous finger
rips, tears, pulls
daring the string to resist.
gaining, the finger;
growing, the string;
fabric tightening
unraveling
at the finger's mercy.
the fabric pleads;
its cry,
a gentle rip
the finger ignores;
winding, winding
turning pink -
red in
anticipation.
the rips are louder
stronger
more.
the finger,
no longer nude
shameless in its theft.
