Forever without you
Who do you think you are?
You were my hero.
You were my saviour.
You were my everything.
Now, as you walk away,
I see eyes shift to your forever.
I want to scream.
I want to grab you and tell you I need you.
I want to tell you I love you.
The scared girl kicks in.
The sensible girl denys everything.
The meldramatic girl cries and falls to her knees.
I am all those girls,
And all I do is smile and wave.
