The End
A split, divide, chasm so long,
drawn out, distinct,
not dried up, but wrong.
A century or longer defines unity from past,
And even longer marks future contact.
Planning, patience, and waiting.
Planning impatiently, quickly creating,
A possible outcome of something elating,
The feeling of doubt is a feeling I'm hating.
I want to be sure,
Your face still the lure,
I admit that until then,
I am no longer secure.
A sigh, a tear, a bite on my lip,
End is a concept that I refuse to grip.
