I feel cold and lifeless
you always brought happiness
now I fear your presence
Empty joy, what you gave me
killing me from the inside
this death only you can see
You put strings around my hands
running my life for me
but then I got cut free
Now I see you and fear
you might try to recapture
what you once had on me
You lead a path to death
I avoid your every temptation
my life is mine to live
