the lie

the lie,
the lie, hanging from the ceiling,
it says i'm special.
it tells me i'm awesome,
but it doens't know me.
in a library, you would think,
people would be honest.
but their not.
everybody is a star.
but what if,
a murderer comes in,
a robber,
what about me?
i don't know,
but theirs still,
a lie
a lie, hanging from the ceiling.
