Dance
Calloused feet, rough ripping flesh.
Muscles burn with every stretch.
Splinters, feel it, own the floor
Always meaning something more.
Dance a story, save your life,
Cooccuring peace and strife.
Dimming lights and wild hair,
On soft worn wood, my soul I bare.
Passion, fire, fury, zeal.
Movement flows from what you feel.
Hit. Beat. Breathe me deep.
Motions wake my drive from sleep.
Spinning fans; my circulation.
Attachment- Total dislocation.
Out of body. Hit the floor.
Sweeping gestures. Pain. My core.
Secrets. Silence in such sound.
Through expulsion, I am found.
