Her Place
The Beach had been her safe place
She would go there to get away
You could find her there sitting
near the shore
Every day when the stars began to
twinkle in the pitch-black sky
above
She loved how her petite feet
would sink into the cool beige
sand
And how the waves made the same
unique sound night after nigh
She never wanted to leave, this
incredible place
And she would never leave without
telling all of the silent
creatures goodnight
To her, this really was a magical
place.
