A formal process

I left a flower
on the dash
small and yellow,
just left it on the dash;
It was a formal process.
No soil or water for
that flower on the dash
just sun and me,
still made no sense;
again,
a formal process.
That flower died,
three days passed
I kept driving
and the warm air was its last.
Death; It was a formal process.
