Emerald Eyes
The sweet sensation of your lips
Pressing against mine;
The gentle softness of your kiss
Can’t get off my mind
Although I’m scared to try again,
I must face my fears
And if this romance were to end,
I would drown in tears
I’m afraid I’ll make a mistake,
As I always do
But the feeling of your embrace
Make those fears subdue
I feel you mend my broken heart,
Much to my surprise
Who could’ve known that it would start
With those emerald eyes
An empty feeling in my chest
Slowly starts to fill
I pray for it to go to rest,
And I think it will
Why you chose me, I can’t surmise
Will you ever say?
For me, it was those emerald eyes;
I hope that you stay
Your wits, and charm also did help
Attract me to you
Your personality as well,
Causes me to swoon
That soft, smooth skin and your bright smile
Made me fall in love
We’ll meet again in a short while
Beneath the warm Sun
I wish and hope Summer will last
For eternity
Now I wait for the days to pass
To bask in your beauty
