Own Religion
We sit in the sun watching second by second as the sun slips through the ground,
the heat reflects from the sun to our body's,
as we slowly heat up the coldness disappears,
we lay our head's back against the stiff chair and let our heads droop,
while the relaxing beats of Jimmy buffet fill our ears,
we can only hope to live every moment of our lives like this,
the verses slip out of our lips and we sing along ,
the sun in the sky,
the birds chirping in the trees,
the music singing in our ears,
this seems to be what we live our lives on,
hope, love, freedom, family
while we pray to god every night,
and live by the bible,
this seems to be our religion,
live by our own rules,
study with our own strength's
and when the day is over we seem to all be relaxed,
which is what we all hope for,
while mom sits happily in the chair with her legs crossed drinking peacefully a glass of wine,
and dad sits in another chair rocking back N' forth with a shot of patron listening deeply to his music,
as they watch their children happily playing in the streets,
the blonde running around with her hair flowing in the wind and her bright eyes gleaming in the light,
the two brunettes also play with their sibling,
but with great diversity,
the oldest looking out into the ocean with her imaginative eye,
the middle child skateboards around both of them,
while her age number may be little her love for her sisters are bigger than ever,
the enigma skate's around and makes pit stop's to her parents,
the happy family lives long while they live in their own religion.
