"Your dreams only become intangible when you stop reaching" ~me ;)

Looking back on the distant past
Makes me want the future fast

But then I look at memories
That aren't so far away
And with the pain I collapse
And beg the past to stay

Innocent laughs that occured back then
Mock my pain that's permenently set in

Never thought this day would come
The final good-byes
are engraved in stone
I walk outside
And get in the car to go home

I'll never see those people again
I should be happy and have a grin

But even the quiet kid in the corner
That merely filled a seat
Has somehow found a way
To partake in my heart's defeat

I was quiet the whole ride home
With tear-stained cheeks and a heart left cold

My family laughs
at my heart's dismay
A shoulder to cry on
Never will they

Keep preesing on and never look back
Are the words that fill my heart's giant crack

I can't help
But I feel so trapped
Time never felt so perilous
'Cause I'm a hopeless sap

All I want is to go back in time
To have one more day to show I can shine

Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious.....And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
-Walt Disney

Did you move or something? Most people aren't that miserable with 8th grade graduation, cuz there's always next year. It's different in my town because they cut the school in half, zoning some people to one high school, some to another. It hurts us so much knowing that we only have a few more months of school, of time together, and after that we really will never see each other. All of my friends but 4 or so are going to the other school. How can the school board do this to us? Don't they care about our mental health at all?!
