Let it Show
When you look,
Look at her.
You think she has everything under control.
What you don't see is fear,
Fear that's burnin' deep inside like coal.
But she doesn't let it show,
The fear inside she lets it grow.
Now she's packed it deep inside,
Scared to let it go,
Scared to let anyone know.
When she thinks that she's free,
It comes back fast and hard to were it used to be.
Then she runs,
Runs and hides,
Afraid someone might see.
Now it's back,
The fire within,
And she feels it harder to hold it in.
And she knows,
The bigger it grows,
The harder it's going to get to push it back.
Now it's out,
Out of control.
And she doesn't know where to go,
Doesn't want anyone to know.
When you look,
Look at me.
You think that I have everything under control.
What you don't see is the fear.
The fear that I let go.
That I let show.
