On The Dance Floor
On the dance floor
Swaying like a
Blade of long prairie grass
In the wind
Is that girl
So gorgeous
No one else exists
Just you
And her
Strutting up
In your suit
Wanting to dance
Looking like a penguin
She notices you
You feel your face
Blush a crimson rose color
Mumble while bowing
Taking her hand
She smiles
You lead
She follows
The music stops
While thanking you
She falls
Into the now apparent crowd
Vanishing
Just as quickly
As she emerged
