Standing by your side
Is wonderful as the timid tulip buds of springtime,
Wonderful as a silky satin sky of stars-- Freckling the pond, like the rounds of your cheeks.
And even the solacing thought of you that comes when we are apart, like a brush of a lover’s lips,
brings me amenity like no other.
