The Music Is Free
The guitar sang a song of adventure,
Calling me to its strings.
Telling me the musical stories of the stranger in my dreams.
Running through my mind.
The free life was calling,
It's free and it's normal
Although we see it to be crazy.
“Join me! Join me!” it’s voice hard to find
Guitar strumming.
For freedom is an outlet for smiles
Freedom can express the joy you feel
Express by driving for miles
Singing at the wheel
Let freedom ring
Is what the people sing
When I feast my ears upon its sound,
I melt.
My eyes once afraid to close now close with ease,
Feeling lighter than sound waves themselves.
They closed with this inexplicable freedom.
It's like my heart has blossomed wings and is flying with the translucent music notes in the sound waves of the song.
The musicality of it all!
It was hard to appall.
I have to sing,
My voice now splitting through the air.
The guitar strings ring,
All through the square
The freedom it will bring.
Living in perfectly peaceful harmony.
Among the musical meadow
It shall surely stay in me.
My body isn't moving but I feel like I'm swaying in the wind. For a few measly minutes, I know what it's like to fly,
But I possess no wings to fly.
Music is truly, inexplicably, a wonderful thing.
